A Lesson from Noah - How to get away with playing with spoons or any other forbidden items

Step One - Identify the target - in this case, a spoon.
Step Two - Wait for what I like to call the window of opportunity. In this case, I preyed on my unsuspecting dad during a Bears game.
Step Three - Go for it!
Step Four - When you are about to get busted, do something incredibly cute that will cause your mom to forget about the object and get the camera. Hold on tight to the treasured possession and just keep smiling. Mom knows that if she takes the spoon, I will cry and the photo opportunity will be gone.

8/13/07 - Happy Birthday to Me

Well, here I am, one year later... Mom and dad survived their first year as "parents" and as you can see from the picture, I've been pretty busy this past year myself. Been doing a whole lot of growing and learning... I'm now 20 pounds and a bundle of energy. I love to crawl and walk (not by myself yet) and take a bath. I have developed quite a love for food and will try to score a bite of whatever I can get my gums on. Ok, so I've been a little slow in the tooth department... I finally have 2 teeth ( as of about 2 weeks ago) and I think I'm getting ready to pop out another. I say mama and dada and am very good at expressing myself. Let's just say, I make my needs known. I may be small, but I am definitely in charge, Matter of fact, it's only taken me a year to get the remote control away from dad. Even my mom hasn't accomplished that yet! And yes, I still love my doggies. So, stay tuned... If you thought this past year was good, just wait to see what I have planned for this year... Trust me, you won't want to miss it.

My First Pontoon Ride

I turned 6 months old today and now I get to start eating some food! I have been anxiously awaiting this moment (have tried my darndest to intercept my parents food with no luck!) so you can imagine my disappointment when all they gave me was some lousy rice cereal. I know there are better foods out there, I've watched them eat all kinds of goodies for the past 6 months. And now, they try to give me lousy rice cereal. Maybe if I make a big enough mess they will wise up and pull out the french fries!
